キンイロジャッカル（学名：Canis aureus、英名：Golden jackal）
イヌ科イヌ属に属する中型の哺乳類で、「ジャッカル」の一種です。その名の通り、全体的に黄褐色や金色がかった毛色が特徴的です。
外見・身体的特徴
- 体サイズ: 頭胴長（体長）約60〜85cm（一部の情報では最大100cm超）、尾長約20〜30cm、体重7〜15kg程度。肩高は約38〜45cm。
